Have we learnt from Past Human History?

How do  The Legends of the Lost Continents of Lemuria

and Atlantis apply to us?

          Lemuria or Mu first appeared in works of Augustus Le Plongeon the traveler and writer about his own investigations.

Concepts of Lemuria are built further on the fact that identical of the Permian geological structures are found in South India, South Africa, and Australia. Some geologists therefore proposed a theory of the possible existence of ancient continent and proposed the name Lemuria, which somehow survived.  Heinrich Schliemann, who discovered the Trojan ruins and the Treasure of King Priamo, which were also thought to be ‘legends’, found the manuscript  I include here, which speaks of its destruction in in Lhasa, Tibet. 

What is significant in both ‘legends’ is that what created the cataclysms that ended with their civilization was -the One Capital Sin we have also committed – they forgot their Divine heritage and connection and became debased and destructive to each other and their world because of their self-directed actions.  Does this sound familiar?  Have you thought about how the actions being taken on our planet endanger all life?  Or do you still think that there is not Law of Action-Reaction, Cause and Effect governing our planet?   ‘They forgot that ‘they were superior’ Ra Mu tells them  in this old manuscript.  Jesus came to help us  recuperate our true nature; but have we become ‘superior’?   Now seeing that the time of the ‘great purification’ is coming and our actions are still self-bound and destructive, He is warning us, begging us to change our actions and remember that we are inherently divine.  But  it seems that we do not want to be warned about what our actions and choices are causing.  .  .  Curious,  it seems that there is a resistance in human beings to be ‘super-human’.  Does anyone really believe that being ‘human’ as we are now is the last step in human evolution?  Think about it.  .  .  Read the words of Ra Mu to the Lemurians. Do they sound familiar?

To Humankind in the Year 2010

When the star of Bal fell over the place,

Where there’s now only the Ocean and the Sky,

The Seven Cities with their golden gates

And transparent Temples shook,

And were shaken like the leaves of a tree in a storm;

Then from the palaces arose a curtain of fire and smoke,

The air was filled with the cries of the multitudes,

The people seeked shelter in their temples and their cities,

And Mu the Wise – the Ra Mu Hierophant – rose and said:

‘Didn’t I warn you that this would happen?’

And the women and the men clothed in their beautiful garments

Embroidered with jewels and gold, begged:

‘Please Mu, help us survive!  Help us!’

And Mu answered:

‘You will die with your servants and your riches,

And from you ashes will spring new nations,

And if they forget also that they are Superior,

Not for what they believe, but because of what they do,

They will find that the same fate has been reserved for them.’

The fire and the smoke drowned the words of Mu;

And the earth and all its inhabitants were destroyed

and swallowed by the waters.  .  .”

About Atlantis TIMEOUS Dialogues of Plato 360BC

          Then as to wisdom, do you observe how our law from the very first made a study of the whole order of things, extending even to prophecy and medicine which gives health, out of these divine elements deriving what was needful for human life, and adding every sort of knowledge which was akin to them. All this order and arrangement the goddess first imparted to you when establishing your city; and she chose the spot of earth in which you were born, because she saw that the happy temperament of the seasons in that land would produce the wisest of men. Wherefore the goddess, who was a lover both of war and of wisdom, selected and first of all settled that spot which was the most likely to produce men likest herself. And there you dwelt, having such laws as these and still better ones, and excelled all mankind in all virtue, as became the children and disciples of the gods.

Many great and wonderful deeds are recorded of your state in our histories. But one of them exceeds all the rest in greatness and valour. For these histories tell of a mighty power which unprovoked made an expedition against the whole of Europe and Asia, and to which your city put an end. This power came forth out of the Atlantic Ocean, for in those days the Atlantic was navigable; and there was an island situated in front of the straits which are by you called the Pillars of Heracles; the island was larger than Libya and Asia put together, and was the way to other islands, and from these you might pass to the whole of the opposite continent which surrounded the true ocean; for this sea which is within the Straits of Heracles is only a harbour, having a narrow entrance, but that other is a real sea, and the surrounding land may be most truly called a boundless continent.

Now in this island of Atlantis there was a great and wonderful empire which had rule over the whole island and several others, and over parts of the continent, and, furthermore, the men of Atlantis had subjected the parts of Libya within the columns of Heracles as far as Egypt, and of Europe as far as Tyrrhenia. This vast power, gathered into one, endeavoured to subdue at a blow our country and yours and the whole of the region within the straits; and then, Solon, your country shone forth, in the excellence of her virtue and strength, among all mankind. She was pre-eminent in courage and military skill, and was the leader of the Hellenes. And when the rest fell off from her, being compelled to stand alone, after having undergone the very extremity of danger, she defeated and triumphed over the invaders, and preserved from slavery those who were not yet subjugated, and generously liberated all the rest of us who dwell within the pillars.

          But afterwards there occurred violent earthquakes and floods; and in a single day and night of misfortune all your warlike men in a body sank into the earth, and the island of Atlantis in like manner disappeared in the depths of the sea. For which reason the sea in those parts is impassable and impenetrable, because there is a shoal of mud in the way; and this was caused by the subsidence of the island.

About the End of Atlantis CRITIAS – Dialogues of Plato 360 BC

          For many generations, as long as the divine nature lasted in them, they were obedient to the laws, and well-affectioned towards the god, whose seed they were; for they possessed true and in every way great spirits, uniting gentleness with wisdom in the various chances of life, and in their intercourse with one another.They despised everything but virtue, caring little for their present state of life, and thinking lightly of the possession of gold and other property, which seemed only a burden to them; neither were they intoxicated by luxury; nor did wealth deprive them of their self-control; but they were sober, and saw clearly that all these goods are increased by virtue and friendship with one another, whereas by too great regard and respect for them, they are lost and friendship with them.

By such reflections and by the continuance in them of a divine nature, the qualities which we have described grew and increased among them; but when the divine portion began to fade away, and became diluted too often and too much with the mortal admixture, and the human nature got the upper hand, they then, being unable to bear their fortune, behaved unseemly, and to him who had an eye to see grew visibly debased, for they were losing the fairest of their precious gifts; but to those who had no eye to see the true happiness, they appeared glorious and blessed at the very time when they were full of avarice and unrighteous power.

Zeus, the god of gods, who rules according to law, and is able to see into such things, perceiving that an honourable race was in a woeful plight, and wanting to inflict punishment on them, that they might be chastened and improve, collected all the gods into their most holy habitation, which, being placed in the centre of the world, beholds all created things. And when he had called them together, he spake as follows.  .  .  *

For unknown reasons Plato never finished the story.  .  .     My theory is that in his Wisdom, for he was wise, he let it unfinished so that we learn that it is the actions of man who will write the end.  .  .  The ending we are writing is not so different than the one Lemurians or Atlanteans wrote.

Maybe the story doesn’t sound so familiar, or connected to us because in our days the majority of people have never experience their divine nature, whereas the Atlanteans did, neither have many seen others manifest it, only in isolated cases of a few individuals that are then singled out as ‘saints’ ‘ or weird people’ and indeed not people that have ‘common sense’ and ‘know how to function on this earth.’

My intention in including these two ‘legends’ of how and why these continents disappeared is to make you aware that Jesus is now calling on us to change, just as the wise men of Atlantis and Mu call them at that time.  They were not listened.  Maybe knowing this and seeing what happened to them, will make you pay more attention to His messages.  Jesus has already done everything He can to help us, He needs our CHANGE for that help to be effective before the time of planetary ascension happens.
